Membership Statements
KMHE Statement of Purpose
Our purpose is to provide support and encouragement to home educators by the sharing of information, inspiration and resources. We seek to promote high quality home education programs which will encourage the development of Christ-like character and which will meet the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of our children. It is purposed that this organization and all of its activities will be consistently and forthrightly Christian to the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
KMHE Statement of Belief
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes His inerrant revelation to man. We believe that God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God and came in human flesh; He was fully God and fully man except without sin.
We believe that Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty for man’s sin through His substitutionary death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection.
We believe that salvation is offered as a free gift to the sinner through grace. This gift is appropriated by individual faith in the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that God created all things. He created mankind as male and female to complement and complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between one genetic male and one genetic female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society.
Participation Guidelines
- KMHE is an informal all-inclusive Christian-based group of nearly 120 families largely residing in Washington, Dodge, Ozaukee, Fond Du Lac and surrounding counties.
- Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and lend a hand (however volunteering is not mandatory at this time). KMHE asks you to volunteer so that the WHOLE GROUP can benefit! Give of your time at least once per year. Plan a field trip, volunteer at a KMHE-led event, organize a Harvest feast, a game night, a baking contest, the Science Fair or whatever opportunity you see fit for our Christian group. Your ideas and enthusiasm are welcome! Help make the group better and stronger for all our homeschool kids.
- $15 annual membership dues allow memebers to attend select in-person events and to access the KMHE members-only website where opportunites are posted in the Forum, Calendar and Classifieds and homeschooling information is easily retrieved.
- New members may join KMHE at anytime throughout the year, however, membership dues are not pro-rated. The fee is a flat rate of $15. If a family joins on or after June 1 the membership extends to October of the following year.
- Current members may renew their membership during the annual renewal period of October 1-15.
- All KMHE members must complete the membership application, pay $15 annual dues and submit a copy of their DPI Form PI-1206 to [email protected].
